Production Staff and Direction
Shintarō Dōge is serving as the director for the anime at Studio Pierrot. Dōge, previously the assistant director for Arknights: Perish in Frost and an episode director for Pet , is also credited for the original character designs. The series scripts are being written and supervised by Yūko Kakihara, known for work on Blue Box and the 2022 and 2024 productions of Urusei Yatsura .
Storyline and Premise
The story centers on Fū and Rui, two sisters who were once close but have recently drifted apart. After Fū encounters a mysterious spaceship, she acquires magical powers. Rui receives similar powers at the same time, allowing both sisters to transform into the adult versions of themselves they aspire to be. These abilities are bound by two strict conditions: the magic will last for only one year, and its existence must remain a secret. Unaware of each other's powers, both Fū and Rui begin careers as idols.
Studio History and Project Background
Studio Pierrot originally announced this magical girl project in June 2024. The studio has a long history with the genre, having produced earlier titles such as Magical Fairy Persia , Magical Star Magical Emi , Magical Idol Pastel Yumi , and Fancy Lala .
